I consider myself both a left and right brained creative. What does that look like? Well for starters, I love a good timeline, consistent file naming conventions, and overall structure (I was definitely a PM in a past life). I get excited by partnering with marketing to figure out the “why” behind an ask, and putting that strategy to work in a kick ass brief. And, on top of it all, my background as an Art Director helps me lead a team to create final work that is not only strategically led, but also creatively driven.
I am a natural leader—just ask my mom. If she’s unavailable as a reference, here’s what she’d probably say: “Shanna has helped build teams from the ground up, implemented tools to stay on the cutting edge, attracted top talent to create kick ass work while also cultivating a dynamic team culture, and stayed cool, calm, and collected while driving results for the business. And she always kept her room clean.”
When I am not on my computer you will find me walking my old man basset hounds, Barnaby and Norman, or working on updating my 60’s MCM home with my husband. I love getting outside to MTB, but counter-balance it with an unhealthy dose of smut books and trash tv. I am in bed by 8 PM most nights and wear way too many colors/patterns at any given moment. I am forever trying to find my old MySpace login and fight the millennial urge to say lol at the end of every text. Do with that information as you will.
